Real Time Spectrograph : Parameters

Spectrogram Parameters...  Adjusts the spectrogram settings, such as Frequency Resolution and Display parameters. Additionally a temporal overlap between 0 and 87.5 % is available. Sound card sampling frequency and down-sampling is also available from this dialog box. The down-sampling option allows to further decrease the sampling rates supplied by the soundcard, which can be useful for the analysis of low frequency signals.
Buffer Size...
Envelope If this option is activated, the envelope of the signal will be displayed above the spectrogram. Note that this can slow down the display speed. The color of the envelope turns to red if the soundcard is overmodulated. In this case one should reduce the recording level to prevent distortion of the recorded signal.
Scroll-Mode The spectrogram will be scrolled from right to left on the single line spectrogram display if this option is checked.
